[Haphazard]

I'm still not exactly sure where I am staying on Thursday night... maybe Kyoto, maybe Osaka... it doesn't really matter because I have accommodation booked in both places.

I must remember to cancel one booking.

Weather people are insinuating that the rainy season may commence this week, which would be a real dampener on our plans because nobody likes trudging around cities with umbrellas and viscous humidity.

I also haven't booked a seat on the Shinkansen because I don't see a need.

[Kansai]

I am going to Osaka on the 2nd of June. This trip will also take in Kobe and maybe a bit of time in Kyoto.

Very exciting.

But should I take the night bus or the Shinkansen? It's a matter of money vs comfort vs time, and the Shinkansen wins in every regard except money, but hey, I'm not a student anymore so why not take the better option???
